OBSIDIAN Obsidian is volcanic glass that forms from rapid cooling of lava with very little crystallisation. Obsidian is born from the energy of the volcano and having being used historically to create arrow heads, it is symbolic of piercing darkness to find light. Considered a sword against negative energy and promoter of positive mental health.
